Not much to report about this weekend. Cheat day was spectacular. I have been on this diet about three weeks now (a modified slow carb diet from the 4 Hour Body). This week has been horrible as my coworkers seem hell bent on breaking me. There have been two cakes, two boxes of donuts and a pizza party. That’s almost a carb Christmas carol. Of course I squirreled away little bits as they have come in, but at the time my craving for sugar and carbs caused me to run from the library screaming. Almost. But by the time Saturday got here I got violent with some bread and donuts.
Speaking of getting violent, I watched the South Korean action revenge movie, Oldboy. For the squeamish of you out there, I recommend staying far away, but anyone with a strong stomach and a slant toward disturbing stories should check it out. I’ll have a full review up Tuesday.
I did come in to be a saturday librarian, not just to gather my carbs while they lay, but to cover my monthly shift. Strange to be among the regular people again after all these nights, but I guess the sunshine does me good. I may also have to cover next Saturday, but I’m not sure about that. Caleb mentioned Cassidy might be out of town or something. Eh, I can do it as long as they don’t ask too often.
Speaking of Cassidy, I’ve been seeing her more often on my morning runs. This new nightly schedule has it so that I get off of work, play around a bit and then go out jogging for sunrise. There’s really been nobody out for the last couple weeks, but this morning Cassidy came bounding around a bend, red hair bouncing in a playful ponytail as she ran. I am not trying to be a pig and there’s more danger around her than handling expired dynamite, but worse sights have been seen than Cassidy Bell bouncing down a track.
Okay, before I blush and get all misty and you stop reading this for fear I’m turning into a complete pervert I shall let you go. I hope your week is awesome.
After while crock-o-dyle,
