Update: Seems we were lied to by somebody and made comments about the New Zealand National Library and their people and their sheep and whatever else goes on on that strange, magical wonderland. We still, however, believe that Hobbit porn is a thing because, well, internet., but refuse to look for sources to prove our assumption based on our already vast inability to sleep at night. Special thanks to Infodocket for the heads up.
Lost Girls, an erotic fairy tale written by comic book writer Alan Moore and his wife, has become the first item pulled from the New Zealand National Library. The book, often known to be of an adult nature, is the first item to be pulled expressly for being too explicit by the library itself.
Not one to point fingers and say, "Hey now," but you gotta suspect at some point in the last decade a bit of Hobbit porn has snuck into that library, right? I know Tolkein himself was English, but the movies... I mean, come'on. All in good fun, right? No long-winded tales of sheep love? Too below the belt? That's what the sheep said. I don't even know where I'm going with this, but I just have to make fun of censorship. It's my thing.
