An entire floor of the UoU's Mariott library shut down after a patron noticed bedbugs in a lounge chair. Despite only being located in small pockets, the entire floor was shut down and the environmental team called in.
One of two things needs to start happening: we stop letting the patrons, all of them a dirty and unsavory lot, roam the stacks or we start delousing patrons like prisoners like in a prison.
I have no other recourse in mind, no middle man. Bedbugs gotta be stopped, with their little bloodsucking eyes staring at us, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEY ARE. Leeches and ticks, sure those can stay in the librayr pond and the library grass, that's where they live, go in there and you are encroaching on their territory. But the bedbugs are not in the library beds where they belong and this disturbs me.
Creepy, crawly little things nesting and spreading, evil in their intent and emotion. Blood riders, I call them, hatching from the life juice of the living to breed and multiply.
EVIL HAS A NAME AND THAT NAME IS BEDBUG AND IT IS SPREAD TO UTAH.
