Hellgate High School librarian Peggy Cordell has reinvented her library to focus on academic learning and extending "library skills" or information literacy, outside of the library. Processes like the Dewey Decimal System are substituted for critical thinking about how to find the correct information.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way, there's a place called Hell Gate, Montana. Or there was. I did some information literacy, AKA a google search, and found a facinating history of blood and death in the area just south of modern day Missoula, Montana. In fact many of its residents came from Hell Gate, abandoned for the new settlement after a gang rant the town for years and it took a murder possie from the hills to come down and hang a bunch of folks. Then there were the Native troubles... You know your town should be called Hell Gate when wikipedia devotes an entire section to the deaths that happened there.
So yeah, yay information literacy. Awesome. But we need to bring back Deadwood and call it Hell Gate.
