Amazon has started a new program called "Amazon Source" wherein an independent book retailer can sell a Kindle device and earn ten percent of anything bought with that device for two years. Amazon claims this to be an extension of the "used" section of the Amazon website that retailers have been using and profiting from for years.
Okay, it is one thing for a large company to allow you to sell your wares at their site. It's a complete different thing for that company to turn around and ask the the same of a small business with less results. Has another company ever done this? Has eBay ever said, "Hey, why don't you put our ebay auction stuff in your garage sale next time?" It just feels weird and kinda evil.
