Move over Cinemax author E L James, there’s a new soon to be best selling e-author on the block by the name of Suess. And he’s a damn doctor!
That’s right, get your cats into hats and your who’s into whatsits and that sounded a lot more like porn than I wanted.
Man, this is really hard.
Son of a bitch the porn stuff just keeps coming.
Dr. Suess books are now gonna be ebooks! I cannot tell you how many times in the past, as a little boy I sat on my mother’s knee and held those giant books out and thought, “Man, what if this were on an iPad?”
Then my mother and father would get out the exorcist paddles out because seeing into the future is the devil’s work! Weren’t supposed to know the secrets before they happened, yet I knew the iPad was coming and tried to warn you all but it was the basement for Evan!
I’m just kidding. I can not see the future. But the Dr. Suess stuff is totes real.
Progress marches on, huh? What is left to become digital? Project Gutenberg got most if not all the public domain stuff by now and the major publishers have jumped on their big properties.
Even comics figured out a price point and a pretty great way to read them.
Makes you wonder when everything will level out, what company will do what iTunes did for music and level the field? Apple could have, but they reached too far and may have given Amazon the ebook reigns.
We shall see. What do you think? Can you think of anything we have not digitized? Do you foresee an end to all this or are we at the end, the tipping point where publishing holds on like the post office has until it collapses under its own weight?
