The Harvard rare books library is hiring a Wikipedian-In-Residence. Not a joke. The job will require the person to add sources and upload content to Wikipedia on a regular basis. The requirements for the position include "extensive editing experience of Wikipedia" and "an account in good standing."
Guess I'm not so qualified after all. The only real experience I've had editing Wikipedia was the first year it got big and I was in library school. I decided to test the editors by adding false information and seeing how long it took to take down. For library science, mind you. Educational purposes. They still threatened me with slander and I never did hear if Arnold Schwarzenegger ever forgave me.
