Few things scare me. Hundreds of hours of horror books and movies, including the works of Stephen King, have desensitized my brain to the point where most actors, actresses, and characters are not real people, just meat puppets doomed to a gory, mind-crushing doom from which they cannot escape. I say that to tell you that I had a very visceral reaction to some of the images of art, none of which is very "gory" or violent, created from Stephen King ideas on display at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles in the show entitled "King for a Day." That's a warning, a big ass red flag not to click the link below if you are reading this in a dark room. However, the images are very well done and the artists should be celebrated as much as King himself.
